So last night I went to the midnight screening of the “re-imagining” of Friday the 13th. Alot of people weren’t to thrilled to hear this was being made but I for one was. I didn’t grow up on the 13th series becasue I was more terrified of Freddy. When I finally saw some of the Jason flicks I was like, “enh”. The body count is high, but the cheese is way over the top. I think the only time I thought Jason was bad ass was in Freddy vs. Jason. In any case this new version takes jason to a whole other level. If you saw Michael Bay’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre and liked it then you’ll be pleased with this. One of my personal favorite things is how Jason is more athletic, meaning he’s not taking his time in walking over to kill these kids, he’s actually chasing them down! Plus this dude is pushing wigs back with a bow and arrow!! Do yourself a favor, grab some friends, head to the movies tonight becasue you really can’t see Friday the 13th on a day other than Friday the 13th.

Nothing to be said but that we love our girl the ever so sexy – Kat Von D – thanks homie girl for the love.
We want to give it up to our boy MANONE for throwing a hell of an event last Saturday night – the lines were out the door but once you got in – you realize why and know that it was worth the wait. The artwork by these famously acclaimed street artist blessed the walls of the CREWEST Gallery with pieces that were only done with a sharpie – you’ll never see art like this anywhere else and even George Clinton helped with one of the pieces. The event is going on til March 1st so make sure you head yourself to downtown and check it out for yourself.

So I had the itch to go checkout some new cars the other day even though it was raining a bit – and when I got to the dealership I saw this bad boy roll in – a Ferrari Enzo – this is one bad mother! I talked to the salesman for awhile about the car and my interest hoping he wouldn’t see through my plan to just swindle him for a test drive but I was immediately shot down and told that I need some mad credentials and a shit load of assets to even set foot into the car – damn bastards. I should have just put an FA sticker on the back bumper and bounced.

All of us here at FLOS ANGELES wanted to wish our boy RAY aka DJ LUNCH BOX a Happy Birthday! Big ups to you homie! May you have a blessed day.
If you’ve ever listened to Power 106 during a Holiday weekend then you’ve heard dj echo in the mix. As part of the World Famous Hollaboyz along with DJ Vice, echo always holds it down when he’s in the mix. With residencies at clubs like Rum Jungle in Vegas and various LA hot spots, traveling across the globe for gigs and producing remix tracks for Crooklyn Clan, echo definitely represents the Flos in Flos Angeles. I myself learned alot about djing by growing up on hollaboyz mixtapes. His new mixtape is now available for a free download. Do yourself a favor and download this, cuz sitting in trafic won’t seem that bad once you got this bumping in your car!
